Project Overview

Mogul Sports Group x PUMA was a promotional project delivered in 2021 to support the announcement of three athlete endorsement deals during the NBL season, with Mitch Creek, Finn Delany, and Scott Machado securing partnerships with PUMA. Mogul Sports Group, an international athlete representation and sports marketing agency operating across Australia and the United States, required a set of visuals to showcase these deals and elevate the visibility of their athletes within a competitive sporting landscape.

The Brief

The brief was to create social media tiles announcing the PUMA partnerships, with the objective of positioning the athletes alongside a globally recognised brand and reinforcing Mogul Sports Group’s role in securing high-profile endorsements. The content needed to feel premium, dynamic, and aligned with both the athletes’ personal brands and the stature of PUMA.

My Role

I worked as the sole designer on the project, responsible for the creative direction and execution of the announcement assets, working directly with the group to deliver final artwork for release.

The Approach

The approach focused on creating a more dynamic and elevated presentation of the athletes, using strong composition and visual energy to highlight both the individual players and the significance of the partnerships. The designs aimed to balance clarity with impact, ensuring the messaging was immediately recognisable while still feeling visually engaging within a fast-moving social media environment.

Selected Outcomes

The project delivered a series of social media announcement tiles for each athlete, designed to be deployed across platforms and establish a consistent visual standard for endorsement-related content.

Outcomes

The campaign successfully communicated the PUMA partnerships and contributed to increasing visibility around the athletes and their endorsement deals, supporting Mogul Sports Group’s positioning within the sports marketing space.

Reflection

This project reinforced the importance of presentation in athlete marketing, highlighting how strong visual execution can elevate endorsement announcements and help position athletes within a premium, brand-aligned context.
